GUR POLI WITH DHAMPURE GUR
- 1/4 cup tamarind (imli) , soaked in water for 1 hour
- 2 tbsp jaggery (gur)
- 1/2 cup cumin seeds (jeera) powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper powder
- a pinch rock salt (sendha namak)
1- Remove the skin of the tamarind, deseed and strain the pulp.
2- Combine the tamarind pulp and remaining ingredients and blend in a mixer along with 4 cups water.
3- Serve chilled.
